Sarah L. Shivers, CPLS
Our President and Co-Founder, Sarah, embarked on her career journey within the dental field, initially serving as a Business Administrator for an oral surgery practice. It was in this role that she laid the foundation for her profound interest in credentialing.
Transitioning into the realm of physician credentialing, Sarah assumed the position of a Credentialing Coordinator, where her unwavering dedication to delivering exceptional credentialing services began to flourish. Her commitment and proficiency were acknowledged by a supportive employer, propelling her ascent within the company to the role of Director of Credentialing.
Fueled by a vision to offer physicians a personalized credentialing experience akin to having a dedicated assistant, CredentialGurus was established. The company's ethos centers around providing expert credentialing support to alleviate the administrative burden on physicians.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Sarah is a devoted mother of two, and enjoys embarking on enriching family escapades..

Danielle Richards, CPLS
Please allow me to introduce myself as the proud new member of the Gurus team!
Sarah and I met working together at an Oral Surgery practice in 2017 and life has kept us connected ever since.
I’ve spent 13 years assisting doctors clinically, and now I want to assist them in the complicated behind-the-scenes processes of credentialing. I truly understand how precious the healthcare provider’s time is, which is why I am passionate about being a trusted credentialing coordinator. Our job is to make the HCP’s job easier so they can focus on what matters: the patient. My goal is to be the safe space that the clinician can trust to get the job done correctly and in a timely manner. I will work hard to make sure you get to where you need to go!
In my free time, you can either find my husband, dog and I in our camper somewhere in the woods or seeing live music.
